In the hosting world, a control panel is a web-based instrument which will allow you to command your web hosting account through a graphic interface using various tools. Considering that the alternative is to type in commands in a command line, a lot of people prefer to use a control panel to take care of their webpage content. There're different control panel types and the ease of administration through each one differs, still the vast majority of tools offer a basic set of services which you can manage using a point-and-click interface. These include working with files and folders, managing e-mail addresses and databases or viewing access and error logs. Some control panels will allow you to do a lot more things too, so when you buy a hosting package, you should check the advantages and disadvantages of the software instrument which you will use to control your new account.

Multiple Control Panels in VPS Servers

If you wish to use one of our Virtual Private Servers, you'll find 3 separate control panels to pick from on the order page. Depending on the Operating System that you select and the things you need, you can have the VPS set up with Hepsia, DirectAdmin or cPanel. The first one is the most convenient one to use and you'll be able to manage every aspect of the service through it in one place, including payments, domain registrations and trouble tickets. All of the domains which you host on the hosting server will be administered in the exact same account. The other two control panels will allow you to create an individual account for every single domain name hosted on the server and you'll have root-level access, yet they're more difficult to use, so in case you don't have prior experience with them, you may encounter some issues. DirectAdmin and cPanel are also suitable for launching your own web hosting company because they both include client and reseller levels.

Multiple Control Panels in Dedicated Servers

In case you decide to buy one of the dedicated server plans that we offer, you will have as many as three control panels to choose from for your machine. The easiest one to work with is called Hepsia and it's in-house built. It'll allow you to perform everything in one place, so even if you have little or no experience, you won't have any problems to handle your web content, domain names, payments or support tickets with no need to log into another system. Hepsia also has the most user-friendly interface. In comparison, the other two control panels - cPanel and DirectAdmin, are more difficult to use, so you will need more technical skills in order to use them, but they will give you increased control over various server settings and will enable you to host every domain in an individual account. The latter option makes these two control panels suitable for starting a reseller business and selling web hosting accounts to other users.
